RDNZ extremely disappointed with Pharmac’s proposal to phase out funding of food thickeners
Pharmac is seeking feedback on a proposal to stop funding food thickeners for use in the community.
Rare Disorders NZ has made a submission to Pharmac’s review proposal to phase out funding of food thickeners, expressing disappointment with Pharmac’s proposal.
Rare Disorders NZ proposes that Pharmac does not phase out food thickeners but widens access to include other causes of dysphagia and rare disorders such as Head and Neck cancer.
Consultation closes at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, 31 May 2023.
